Why Protection?

I find that writing about the act of protection now feels paradoxical to me; it used to be so cut-and-dried. But I am not about to throw the "baby out with the bathwater". Protection may need to be fleshed out a bit, but it is still valid on this plane.

First of all, let's define the term. Protection means to "shield from injury". This is what we have always literally done---used a psychic shield for our protection. Those shields varied from chrome balls, white light, lead shields and the best of all---the Teflon™ shield.  (A shield of three layers of light: white on the outside, clear just on the inside, and black on the very inner layer. All those rays surround the auric field.) Another great one is the golden dome from Source.

Although the issue of protection has always seemed to have been an issue, in recent times it has become more a "front-burner" challenge. As we struggle with balancing on our home shores the need to protect our citizens from outside threats against us without losing our precious freedoms, we still have our own personal issues of psychic protection to contend with.

Protection is for the physically incarnated you.

On most other levels it is not necessary. But on physical plane earth it still matters.

Having worked with many healers in my classes and private sessions over the years, I have seen many of them get hit by sometimes quite lethal energies. Some initially had no clue how to insulate themselves from subtle to direct attacks from others. When they studied with me, they began to see how protection made sense. It's kind of a defensive position to a launched offensive. It also helped them with screening the energies to those most compatible with their personal resonance.

I once spent a few years working with people of a specific spiritual group, helping them with their individual issues of personal healing, as well as to withstand the concentrated effect of negative prayer from a rival and larger religious group who saw them as competition and sought to put them "out of business". This was the underlying reason. The outer reason was that they felt they were serving their spiritual guru and keeping his teachings pure. So, it was (and still is) a righteous war and their God-given mission to render the other group monetarily bankrupt through the courts and energetically bankrupt at its core level. The smaller "David" didn't want war with "Goliath", but that was not his choice. The Teflon™ shield worked wonders for this group to shield from the on-going battering they were subjected to on a nearly daily basis. That kind of attack does sooner or later take its toll on the recipient. For those with weaker organs, it can be deadly. With the Teflon™ shield up, at least those who wore it were kept from the slings and arrows shot out from the well-meaning but spiritually ignorant giant. It is my pleasure to say today "David" is still thriving and growing, having weathered out the tapering storm.

Now, there is an aspect of the issue of protection that has to do with reflection and magnetic attraction. If you get hit by unsavory energy, you would need to ask yourself "Why did this get drawn to me"? Do I have a corresponding unseen or shadow resonance with that particular energy? Perhaps you have unresolved victim energy. Would it surprise you if others played off of it to get what they wanted, knowing that you would let them? Or perhaps you are someone with a big heart who has trouble telling others "no", and you run a lot of energy as you are open at the heart level to the cosmic energy. Someone who does not think that they are worthy, or capable, or just plain lazy, will come along and go "free energy!" That is the "vampire" effect. (Or perhaps you are a lightworker, and therefore are a visible target for dark energies!)
 

What are some of the ways you can keep a protection energy around you?

From a Oneness viewpoint there is no need for protection. We are all One and separation is an illusion. Our perceived boundaries are simply that---perceived; in the Oneness paradigm they don't exist. There are techniques of healing that we do in the upper levels of color healing that know no boundaries. We work with a team we can trust and we know how to respect and honor ourselves to allow for a short time to enter into areas where protection is usually necessary. We have learned how to monitor ourselves, and how to honor ourselves.

The paradox is this---You can't throw away your protective boundaries until you know how to have them to begin with.

And for the final word on it, the Dalai Lama writes in the article "Cultivating An Open Heart" from his book An Open Heart. (I wrote this out on a piece of scratch paper later in  the week of Sept 11, 2001---he had prophetically written it well before the terrorist attacks. Or is it really that all real truths are true anytime?)

"When we are faced with a person or group of people wishing us harm we can view this as an opportunity to develop patience and tolerance. We need these qualities; they are useful to us. And the only occasion we have to develop them is when we are challenged by an enemy. So, from this point of view, our enemy is our Guru, our teacher.  Irrespective of their motivation, from our point of view they are very beneficial, a blessing".

This turns the whole thing around, doesn't it? Perhaps if the need to protect arises often enough for us, it shows us areas we can still work on, still refine.

Solar System and Source Protection Technique

This is an excellent protection technique to add to your repertoire. It will give you a multidimensional feel to the act of protection. It is also a chance to use the individual flames in seeking protection.

 ¨      Place a grounding cord from your tailbone into the earth and anchor it firmly.

 ¨      Be aware of your aura boundaries and whether they are situated at a workable and reasonable distance from the edge of your physical body.

 ¨      Chakra balance each chakra from base to black selecting whichever number you wish. Know that if you pick 13 you are linking to Source. Other numbers connect you to other dimensions, or frequencies.

 ¨      Begin to link to all the planets in this solar system. (Use the chart in Healing with the Rainbow Rays on page 245 as a guide for which chakras are linked to each planetary body). Starting with the base, make the braid you create the ruby red flame, and send it the sun, anchoring it firmly either to the middle or around the perimeter.

 ¨      Go through each chakra in this manner, using the flames to link. (See the list of flames as your guide. The article is listed at http://www.colorhealing.com/articles/3flames.html )

 ¨      After you are completely linked, send a combined braid from them to a parallel universe. To do this you send each flame out beyond the planetary body to a single point, joining all 13 together.

 ¨      When they are joined into one, make your intent that of connecting to a high energy parallel universe. To get there you may take a wormhole, follow the cosmic ley lines, find a dimensional portal, or simply state to Source what it is you are looking for. The connection will then be made.

 ¨      When that is complete, tie that braid from the parallel universe to Source, which is Infinite Consciousness, Infinite Love, Infinite Light. “Evil”, or incorrect choices/ideas/energies/fear-based emotions, don’t exist there. Thus, it has no power. If it had hooked into you, it must release.

 ¨      Keep this protection in place as long as you feel comfortable. It will eventually dissipate, regardless.

 ¨      Re-ground when completed.

A message from Thomas

Beloved Friends,

Last week a friend sent me an e-mail regarding the US government's proposed use of low frequency sonar to guard against aggressive submarine attacks. The sonar apparently has a devastating effect on ocean-life, in particular whales and dolphins. The e-mail caught my attention, but it did not inspire me to act.

But then something wonderful happened. I felt the presence of a child I've grown accustomed to this past year, the one we call Thomas who I originally met at a monastery in Bulgaria last year. It felt like a gentle tap on the shoulder, but there was also a level of seriousness in the energy I had never experienced before. It has been many months since I forwarded a message from Thomas to our list, but in that moment I felt a new journey beginning, a journey we have all been being prepared for.

Will we step forward and respond? Will we heed this warning and accept the role each one of us has in creating a world based upon the laws of peace rather than the rules of war? I believe it's time to really listen to this message, and become part of the solution. If you feel the same way, I hope you'll forward this to everyone you know. There are already tens of thousands of people responding to the message of these amazing Psychic Children. But millions more are needed.

Navy's Whale-Killing

Low Frequency Active (LFA) Sonar

"This is an outrageous move," stated David Phillips, Director of Earth Island Institute's International Marine Mammal Project. "The Navy's Low Frequency Active (LFA) Sonar system has the potential to deafen every marine mammal living in the world's oceans. There is no driving need for deploying LFA Sonar."


"The Bush Administration's proposed 'mitigation' plan for LFA Sonar is a complete sham," Phillips added. "The Navy is trying to white-wash the deadly effects of LFA Sonar by proposing a 'if we don't see it - we don't harm it' approach to blasting the oceans with deafening sounds."

Today, the federal National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) approved the granting of "small take" permits to kill and harass whales and other endangered species for the U.S. Navy's Low Frequency Active (LFA) Sonar. LFA Sonar makes sound pulses underwater that are the equivalent of standing next to a Saturn V rocket on take-off. The sound supposedly bounces off silent submarines miles away and echoes back to the LFA vessel. LFA Sonar and other active Navy sonars have been implicated in many cases of stranded and killed whales around the world. It is a dumb bomb that threatens marine life in our oceans. Alternative systems exist that do not have adverse impacts on whales and other marine life.

Earth Island Institute and a coalition of environmental and animal welfare organizations are opposed to issuing any permits to deploy LFA Sonar.


From Thomas:

Are you beginning to understand? Do you FEEL the opportunity that is before you? I say the word FEEL instead of understand because it would be impossible for you to comprehend it. Why? Because there's nothing for you to understand, at least not with your mind. But your heart KNOWS, and it's this knowingness you must learn to access. You will not be able to solve this or any other problem with your intellect alone because it will constantly mistake where the real problem is. The problem is not in the ocean, or in the air, or on the land. It is within you now. But the solution is there as well, and you can BECOME that solution if you want. That is the only message the Children are here to bring.

I have said before that your higher consciousness is directly linked to the whales and dolphins of the world. I even told you that it will be easy to know which path you have chosen for the world, the path of peace or the path that leads to war. [This was in the second message sent out earlier this year when Thomas said the activity of the whales and dolphins would reveal the path we have chosen.] But we did not think that this crossroad would come so soon. There has been an escalation in the energy that leads away from the Truth, and you are beginning to kill yourselves through your ocean brothers and sisters. Why do you think this technology of yours is having this deafening effect on the whales and dolphins? It is because you intuitively know that they hold the key to your survival, and you don't want to HEAR the message they would offer. It's that simple. By stealing their ears you are stealing your own. The results could be devastating.

Why would you do this? Because you do not yet understand how close you are to the TRUTH. And if you did, the part of you that is still afraid would use that fear to deny the reality you could enter at any moment. It is time for you to make a choice. Will you accept with your heart that you have everything you need to solve this and every problem? Or will you stuff cotton in your ears, deafen and kill the ocean creatures that could save you, and stay in the darkness of your own fearful mind?

You are reading this because you are ready to choose peace. Over the next two days we will tell you exactly how this can be done, and how you will be asked to save the world. Do not think that it is anything less than this. There is more at stake than you can know with your mind, and that is why we are calling you to return to your heart. This is the moment you have been waiting for. Your response is critical.

The Politics Of Oneness

My Dear Friends:

All involvement in what you call "Politics" is, at its root, a form of conspiracy. Though this latter expression is very often upon your lips today, it surely is not new.

Through Politics, you create a space called "society," where YOU form an agreement with THEM.....that you will all subjugate your spontaneous, authentic, in-the-moment choices and behavior to a pre- established protocol of expression (or repression)---to the desired end that you may live (peacefully, if possible) within a pre- fabricated, postured environment that looks good, sounds good, but inevitably ends up feeling quite empty and sad.

To realize that there is ONLY ONE......regardless of that One's various masks and faces, smiles, tears, or overt actions ......is the beginning of a new world, right then and there. And it only takes One, for that is all there really is, or ever was!

As this One begins to own each "other" one, and another, and another, as self......continually expanding his or her identity....and sentience of self---an innate force of personal homeostasis begins to take over.  It isn't a "negotiated peace" at all. It is now, and always was inbred. Natural. Quite efficient, really.

In a Reconnected World, as in an aware, functional human body......the instinct for self-preservation always ends up reigning supreme. All AS One, One AS All. Every man for himself. But friends......what a "self" ye all are! Focus! Realize! Relax into it! You'll be amazed.

It is the belief in your perceived "other" as separate from your Oneself....that gives birth to fear......and eventually to various forms of Politics (be they clans, tribes, or Federal and State Government).  And.... even though a person's politics are fair, honest, and true......they are still the fruit of a poisoned tree, an illusionary tree......called "Separation."

Indeed, what you call Politics, in the sense they are practiced today, are an encouragement for living in a deliberated state of DISHONESTY and INAUTHENTICITY in regards to your fellow man. They are an agreement to act, or not to act.......from a root premise that seeks to anticipate, and basically eliminate the appearance of the Shadow Self in broad public view. And yet, is not that appearance of The Shadow in human relationship, the very reason that you are drawn together in the first place?

It is as if you say to each other......"I promise not to show you yours, if you'll promise not to show me mine......" (Shadows, Reflections..... do you see?)

Indeed, it is a fearsome premise. To lay aside struggle, cleverness, and social manipulation (especially manipulation of your own self).....in favor of pure, childlike TRUTH, DESIRE, and SIMPLICITY.  But this, My Dear Friends, is the path that spreads itself before you now. Soon, it will the only ground upon which you can safely or comfortably stand.

There is potential for many thousands of people across the world to make an impact on the morphogenetic field of Earth through their combined healing efforts, as they focus at the same time on the same day, on the energies that bring about love, peace, and understanding, and set the standards for a positive future by maintaining an open heart, mind, and spirit, and healing their resistance to life. It is down to us to make a difference together.

Global events, of sufficient magnitude, do demonstrably affect the collective consciousness and subtle energy field of planet Earth. This has been shown, for example, by the Global Consciousness Project and the work of Roger Nelson of Princeton University. Let us take advantage, therefore, of the opportunity that awaits us on World Healing Day, and together set our intent to co-create a positive world of healing.

Exposing the myth of our powerlessness and breaking through the apathy that holds us back from giving birth to a world of healing are key issues to look at. There are 3 ingredients to living as a self-realised being: love, power, and wisdom. Take one ingredient away and the other two become ineffective. Let us bring these three together in ourselves so that we pierce the veils of illusion, take back our power to create our own reality, and recover the love that connects us with enthusiasm to all that is.
