Greetings!
Well, it has been a long
wait since the last newsletter. There have been several reasons why, but the
predominant cause has been extensive computer problems. They are beginning
to be ironed out, but as I write this I am working on a borrowed laptop!
Alas, the newsletter for March and April will never be... I am starting fresh
with this May/June issue.
This is May and the new
Mercury retrograde has started. And from personal experience, I can tell it
is and will be a doozy! Since I have written about the Retro before, I won't
this time. To find out more, you can google info on it from any astrology
site.
What I would like to talk
about is transparency---an aspect of authenticity. It will be a subject
explored in depth in the Accelerated Manifesting class of June 13. I just
want to introduce the concept of it and get us thinking about how we can
bring this state of being more front and center into our earth experience.

Transparency is a Good Thing!

Transparency is defined
by Webster as "clear enough to be seen through". We, in Accelerated
Manifesting, call it a condition of complete state of openness.
Wow! Do we really want to
be that seen? You know that means we are there to be absolutely
exposed, warts and all. Isn't this a description of a typical human being?
Isn't this how we generally define the human state as being conflicted at
best? We may try to be perfect, but it continues to backfire in our faces,
doesn't it? Even our most evolved beings that have walked this planet have
had their issues or flaws. But no one of this caliber or exalted spiritual
state has ever, to my knowledge, claimed to be perfect. Doubtless, a
condition that will never be attained at this level of physical existence.
But what they have been and can be is pretty fabulous! Open, transparent,
loving, compassionate and have complete acceptance of others, no matter what
their spiritual level. They understand alot of how the Universe works, and
know their Oneness with Source.
What a relief if we could
put aside this striving for perfection, and strive instead for complete
authenticity, transparency and acceptance of our currently human state and
how it balances with our spirituality.
The question is "is this
even possible?" Yeah, we know that the ascended masters have done it...but
that's them. They are different, right? What about all our flaws, big
and small? The conglomeration of unattractive issues and states of emotion
that we desperately attempt to hide away called THE SHADOW...[drum roll
here]
How do we take down our
walls or shutters? These are the ways in which we decorate our exteriors to
keep out others. Try staring into another's eyes for more than a few
seconds. It is interesting how most people begin to feel uncomfortable in
letting another see into the "windows of the soul". They are often afraid
they will show parts of themselves hidden away not for "public consumption."
Maybe you are hiding your attraction to them. Or hiding hidden shames. These
disowned parts are the shadow energies. Either way, you are not being
transparent.
Our shadow sides cannot
be hidden for long. If we attempt that, sooner or later they will break out
of their boxed or back burner state and demand to be heard. I have mentioned
before that there is no getting rid of the shadow. Our best course of action
is to acknowledge whatever it shows us (grief, pain, anger, jealousy, shame,
blame, insecurity, and much more), listen to what it has to say, heal it,
clear it, and process it. Then bring it into balance with our whole being. I
know it sounds easier than it is. But it does work. It takes intention and
hard work. But it works!
St Germain has said that
on this level, we have the shadow. It is part of the duality of the Universe
in Its created state. Best course of action is to understand this is how it
works. Rejection and sublimation just cause upheavals later. Letting the
shadow run amok, like a child not parented well, is also not the answer
either. The shadow, like a child, does not want to run the whole show,
unless it feels it has no other alternative. The body personality
doesn't want to take any responsibility for it, just as a parent neglecting
the proper way of parenting. The shadow, just as the child, is relieved when
the parent/essence does his or her job.
There are actually
rewards for this. One of them is to take off the stress of constantly hiding
from ourselves and others unsavory aspects of ourselves. We are worried they
won't love us anymore, or respect us should they see us in all of our
unvarnished glory! So what?
If we have to hide who
and what we are, that is a sad state of affairs. People get who we are
anyway. They pick it up either subliminally, psychically, intuitively,
therapeutically, in their gut, or someone else pointing out the obvious! And
if that doesn't work, they will project the areas that resonate within them
onto you! How can you miss it then? LOL
What we advocate is a
self-styled program of inner reflection, shadow work, healing the inner
child, balanced living, increased spiritual progression to align with our
Source, and developing compassion for others, in addition to giving some of
that same compassion to our poor starved self.
Remember, this whole
comic/drama here can be summed up to a few main goals:
- Align the physical
with the spiritual: matter combining with spirit. It is all energy!
- Learn to understand
and practice unconditional love and compassion for all beings.
- Understand the human
state and its shadow.
- Look to the wisdom of the masters for spiritual
guidance, the artists who show us the human condition, animals for
unconditional love, and children who show us transparency.
- And don't take yourself too seriously!

Death as Mystery: On Natasha Richardson

Many years ago, at a party
in Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of speaking for a while to
Natasha Richardson.
What I remember is how kind
and gentle she was. I realized her pedigree -- that she was
Vanessa Redgrave's daughter -- and throughout our conversation,
I silently marveled at her humility and authenticity.
Her death was a reminder of
something so deep, I'm not sure any of us has quite put it into
words yet. Her mother, her husband, her beauty, her career, her
children - put it all together, and she was one of the magical
people who had it all.
And then she was gone.
Just like that. Like a
shooting star. She was here, so very powerfully here,
and then she was gone.
Richardson had
everything we think of as that which saves us from
oblivion, yet those very things dissolved into oblivion
in one moment on a bunny hill. Reality transformed into
no-longer-reality in the blinking of an eye, forcing us
to question both the nature of that which is and the
nature of that which is not. She who was so alive having
been pronounced dead, and she who was dead still seeming
so alive, we gazed at her as though she stood at the
door. Which she did. Which she does. Which is the point.
I have no doubt
that wherever she is now, Natasha's soul is at peace and
in a happy place. Yet just as surely, we know that the
human agony of those she left behind is beyond
description.
Even within their
pain, however, I'm sure that those who loved her most
can feel the mystery that lay inherent in her passing. I
assume there are moments when her husband, her mother,
her children, and all those who loved her can feel her
arms around them even now. She came from creative
people, and to creative types the membrane that
separates this world from the world beyond the veil is
thinner. Even gossamer. For the artist is a natural
mystic, as the sacred is their ultimate calling. A
magnificent woman has shed her physical body, bringing
to those she left behind a most terrible sadness. But
her soul still lives, beyond the veil, and in that
realization those who are now most sad may find in time
the greatest joy.
When Jesus said
"death will be the last enemy," what he meant was that
one day we will see that it isn't one. For in spiritual
terms, the dead do not die. Whom God hath brought
together, nothing and no one, not even death itself, can
put asunder. It is not the reality of death, but only
our belief about its reality, that ultimately causes us
sorrow and pain.
From a spiritual
perspective, those who die still live; they simply no
longer materialize physically. It's like they're only
broadcasting on cable now, and our human sets still only
pick up network. But they continue to broadcast, for in
God there is no end of run.
As we, the members
of the human race, embrace more and more the vision of a
life that does not end, our physical senses will expand
to match our broadened perception. As it turns out,
Natasha Richardson - with all the sweetness and humility
that marked her earthly self - had one more credit to
her resume, one none of us would have known before. With
her sudden and early departure, her life turns out to
have been a mysterious teaching. It calls us now to look
beyond appearances, and to appreciate the eternity of
life. Surely, her greatest line is this: "I am here. I
did not die."
May that thought -
a Truth that casts out all darkness, even death itself -
be a comfort now to those who grieve Natasha Richardson,
and to all of us who grieve at all. The veil is there,
but it is permeable. And within it, there is a door.

Embodiment of Love

We are each expressions of a fundamental reality, an essence that some
call God, some spirit, some consciousness, some love. It doesn’t matter
what you call it. It doesn’t care. It is beyond names. But it is real,
and thus we all belong to the same family. My blood is the same as
yours, my heart is the same as yours, my body is the same as yours. We
seem to stand apart from each other, but our essence is one. We only
seem to be different, but we are all parts of a whole. Naturally,
whatever any one part does touches and affects the whole. If we think
that we do not effect the whole, we are wrong. We can say that whatever
we do to ourselves, we do to each other: each action is a stone thrown
into the pond of our common existence. Within minutes, or hours, or days
we will feel the ripples of our actions wash over everything. This is
why we cannot war our way to peace, because the killing keeps coming
back. We have to wage peace, not war. And then peace will keep coming
back.
Not only do we belong as brother and sister to other human beings, but
we belong as brother and sister to all living things. We are not meant
to have dominion over other creatures or the Earth, though we behave as
though we are. This wrong thinking is based on the idea of separation,
of being independent from the whole. This wrong thinking leads us to
believe we are entitled to do anything we please, to usurp Nature for
our own purposes. We are not entitled to do as we please. We must live
within the law of universal truth, within the heart where we are all
brothers and sisters under one roof, in one house, with one father and
mother.
The crux of wisdom is the experience of Oneness. This is not an idea or
a theory or an ideal. It is the most salient fact of the mystical
experience and it is universally true. We each exist as expressions of
the same fundamental reality. We are each unique expressions, yes, but
of the same essence. This is both spiritually true and practically true:
whatever we do to another, we do to ourselves. Every thought, every
word, every slight touch of our hand sends energetic impulses racing
outward on the trillions of strands of connective tissue that enfolds us
all in the One. To believe otherwise is the source of all suffering and
violence and pollution on this Earth.
It is not just the belief in separation that creates problems. Beliefs
in general separate us from the whole of existence and lock us into the
prison of our thoughts. Thoughts, beliefs, concepts — these are tools to
navigate the limited, physical plane of reality. They are not in any way
capable of understanding the limitless truth, which must be felt with
the heart. We cannot think our way through life, we have to love our way
through life. The biggest problem in the world today is that people have
come to believe that what they think is what is real. This is wrong.
Reality — truth — lies between thoughts, behind beliefs, before
concepts. Truth is revealed in Silence, and Silence restores our
connection to the whole. This is where humility comes from: Silence.
Silence reveals that our thoughts do not describe reality, they hide
reality. We must listen to Silence. Silence is where our conscience is
born, where we rediscover that love is our essence, and where we
remember that true happiness lies not in personal fulfillment, but in
service to others, and thus to our true Self, the Self in which all
exist as One, in which all life is our life. Silence is where the
arguments and arrogance of egocentric living are dissolved as salt into
the sea of wisdom.
When we come to the end of our life, we are likely to have misgivings.
This is because the purpose of life is to realize, consciously, that we
are the embodiments of love; and many of us have not sought to realize
this. When we realize that we are a manifestation and embodiment of
love, we become full and complete from the inside. All of our
materialistic pursuits are called into question, and we find that we
need far less than we might have thought. We realize we don’t have to
live in a state of constant becoming and acquiring. Within each moment
we find peace and deep contentment, which are inherent in our essential
being. With peace and deep contentment filling us from within each
moment, we do not need to manipulate external circumstances to attain
happiness. We do not have to tear at the fabric of life. We do not have
to be greedy. We do not have to be afraid we will not have enough, or be
enough, or do enough. We can live simply. We can simply live. Once we
recognize who we are — underneath all the thoughts, ideas, and beliefs
we hold about who we are — this will happen naturally.
With peace and contentment filling us from within, we open without
effort to the surrounding beauty. We have created a lot of ugliness to
be sure, but underneath that is the natural beauty of life itself. Life
is so beautiful. Everything is alive! The same conscious presence that
lives within you lives equally within all. Is it not amazing to feel the
living spirit in this way? You feel yourself in others. You feel
yourself in all that exists. Feeling this, how can you harm others? How
can you not feel the fear, or suffering, or despair of others? How can
you throw ugliness onto beauty? We cannot do these things anymore.
Feeling is the key. Feelings and emotions are not the same. Emotions are
mind states like jealousy, anger, and fear. Emotions are sponsored by
thoughts. Feelings are sponsored by the heart and are signs of wisdom:
love, awe, joy, wonder, beauty, connectedness. Feelings are the
consciousness of the heart. The heart feels, the mind does not. The
heart is alive, the mind is inert. The heart experiences, the mind
conceptualizes. The heart joins, the mind separates. This is why we must
emphasize heart, not mind. If we do not live from our heart, we will be
unable to account for our own actions, because all our thoughts will be
in the way. We will be victims of our own thinking, looking elsewhere
for the one “who did us in.” It is no one but us. Our thoughts are good
servants, but terrible masters. Our thinking must reflect the wisdom of
our heart. We cannot allow the mind and its constant stream of thoughts,
beliefs, and concepts to persuade us that the heart is not real, or
true, or useful. It is indeed the only thing that is. We have forgotten
this, and now we must remember.
We are all born as embodiments of love. We are all born with this
knowledge; it is not lost, only ignored; not forgotten, only
disregarded. What we once knew can be known again, right now. We have
only to enter our heart to remember who we are. I entered my heart, and
I remembered what I once knew. I remembered light coming from
everywhere. I remembered peace coming from everywhere. And love, such
love, the kind of love that dissolves all fear and separation and anger.
The kind of love that fills us with forgiveness and peace and
compassion. What else? Just this: Every human being wants to touch and
taste the same happiness, the same goodness. And so we are all joined
together, we are all as one in our desire for happiness and wholeness
and love. This is ours, from the beginning. This is what I remember;
this is what I know; this is what my heart teaches me: all things are
sacred; do not harm or kill others; do not pollute natural beauty. Love
created this universe and it is the nourishing nectar of all creation.
Love is heart and pulse, yes; but love is tendon, too, in that it binds
all existence together into one body. I am one who has remembered that
love is the power of creation itself, love is the world, love is the law
to which we must all surrender. All of creation comes from love, is
sustained by love, and returns to love.
As the embodiments of love, how shall we live? What shall we do and what
shall we not do? How shall we live? How shall we demonstrate what we
know, deep in our heart? How are we to make real in this world what
moves silently within us all? It is not enough to ask and answer, Who
am I? That is only half the equation of wisdom. The other half is to
ask and answer, How shall I live? But answer slowly, and deeply.
The first shout is likely not it. You’ve got to get down below the
surface.
How shall I live? is the question that brings us from the
mountaintop of inner realization to the valley of daily living. Here, in
the valley of daily living, is where our realization is polished and
tested. This is where we show ourselves, where we tell the truth about
our love and loves, where we finally make sense of the whole thing not
in words and ideas and theories, but in the simple way we touch living
things. In our daily living is where we demonstrate what we know about
being an embodiment of love.
Yes, love is a feeling, but it requires action to become complete, to
become whole, to become realized. What actions will we take, moment to
moment, in our daily lives, that demonstrate our love?

On
your self growth and spiritual path, it isn't enough to meditate, do good works
and understand the deeper truths. Much inner work needs to be done at the very
deep levels of our being.
To this end, Alijandra has been urged by her guides to encourage those on a
fast path of growth to stop a moment and discern whether you need to catch a few
areas that haven't been cleared yet.
One
of these is the process of soul retrieval. You may have cleared psychic hooks.
implants, done some or alot of shadow work. But have you brought back your
"frozen in time", traumatic pieces of you---back to you to incorporate...healed?
This
is amazing, shamanic style work that only asks of you to be open and
enthusiastic to bringing back pieces of you to you....healed and
happy.
Normally,
most people have quite a few to retrieve, but Alijandra works quickly and it may
only be 1-3 sessions to bring them all back to you.
In
person sessions are ideal, but arrangements can be made for long distance. She
has the capability of doing out of body work with those people out of the travel
area.
Another big area is to figure out where you stand in your spiritual
initiations and ascension process. There are many "ascensions". Primary to the
earth experience is planetary ascension. But it is only the beginning. Cosmic
ascension is the next step. There are many levels to ascend to merge completely

Appalling news from Alaska.
Soon after Alaska's Board of Game approved the killing of all
wolves in an area near Cold Bay, state officials
illegally killed 14 wolf pups after gunning down their mothers
-- yet another grisly chapter in the Alaska’s
out-of-control wolf slaughter.
Please make an emergency donation to help save the
lives of Alaska’s wolves and fight the barbaric policies of
the Board of Game.
Here’s what happened: State wildlife agency personnel
staked out a known wolf denning site -- a practice that is
illegal under Alaska law -- and, using
helicopters, they gunned down 14 adult wolves
from the air, part of an effort to boost caribou populations
in Southwest Alaska.
When they landed, they found the 14 helpless pups in
the nearby dens -- just weeks old -- and
methodically shot each one in the head. 28 wolves
gunned down in all.
Please donate now to help save Alaskan wolves from
Alaska’s out-of-control Board of Game.
Alaskans are now moving to end the Board of Game’s barbaric
aerial hunting of wolves through a ballot measure.
On August 26th voters can pass this ballot measure and
ban this awful practice before another deadly season begins.
We are helping Alaskans for Wildlife, a
coalition of local grassroots activists, hunters and citizens
who secured the 55,000 signatures to put this measure on the
ballot. Already, they have reached thousands of voters across
the state with their hard-hitting mailings.

can help Alaskans for Wildlife reach 125,000 voters with
mailers like the one on the right -- and end barbaric aerial
hunting.
We’re up against wealthy groups like Safari Club
International who are spending hundreds of thousands
of dollars to defeat the ballot measure.
Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has even signed off on a
$400,000 state-funded propaganda campaign to justify
the state’s barbaric wolf slaughter from the skies.
