Blessed Friends,
There is a revolution taking place, and we are at the
front line. It is a revolution of peace and compassion, and we will certainly
prevail. This is the message I received when I traveled to Iraq last week to
focus the worldwide prayer vigil in which millions of people prayed for
lasting and true peace in the world. It wasn't just for the situation in Iraq,
but for all humanity. We stand at a crossroad, which is what the Psychic
Children have been telling us. Whether we continue the patterns of war and
conflict that have kept us locked in fear, or enter a New World, is up to us.
We must choose NOW!
I hope you are as passionate about this as I am. As I
said in the last e-mail, it is time for us to build a community of Spiritual
Warriors able to act as one mind at a moment's notice. Please accept the

It is such a simple thing, and yet with a strong group ready to act, our
impact will be historic.
When the vigil began on the twelfth of October, I was
just inside Iraq at the border of Jordan. I had traveled to Amman two days
earlier after a stop in London where I was to receive a visa from the Iraqi
embassy. Unfortunately,
the elections in Iraq pushed everything back, and the visa did not arrive in
time. The only other option was to travel to Amman and try my luck at the
Embassy there. I arrived late Thursday, and of course, Friday everything was
closed in honor of the Muslim holy day. On Saturday it was apparent that the
best I could do was be just inside the border of Iraq by the appointed time. I
found a driver and we made our way in that direction. The highlight for me, as
I reported in the last e-mail, was stopping at a castle near the border that
had been rebuilt by Laurence of Arabia and singing John Lennon's "Give Peace a
Chance" with a group of Iraqi school boys. When the moment arrived for the
vigil I could feel the energy so powerfully, and even my driver mentioned that
everything felt different. Not being able to go all the way to Baghdad didn't
seem to matter, for the most important role was held by the millions around
the world who joined together in prayer. Thank you for playing your part.
And now the work continues. We are not facing a
political problem, or even a sociological one as many people believe. What we
are facing is a spiritual dilemma, and so it must be solved spiritually. That
is why I believe our role is so important. We must be willing to change the
way we view each other, as well as how we relate to our creator. When we
realize that we are one with God, then we will know that we are one with each
other as well. Then we will not consider war, because it will be an impossible
response. Then love will prevail, for it is the thing we most want for
ourselves. We must be the ones to demonstrate this today, and that is why it
is important that we join together in this cause.
I would like to end with an excerpt from Neale Donald
Walsch's new book, "The New Revelations, A Conversation with God" (I cannot
recommend this book more highly. I believe it addresses the problem and the
solution on the most basic level. Do yourself a favor and give it a read.)
Consider these steps to peace, and make the commitment to dedicate your life
to achieving them.
The Five Steps to Peace:
There are five things you can choose now if changing the
world, and the self-destructive direction in which it is moving, is what you
wish to achieve.
1. You can choose to acknowledge that some of your old
beliefs about God and about Life are no longer working.
2. You can choose to acknowledge that there is something
you do not understand about God and about Life, the understanding of which
will change everything.
3. You can choose to be willing for a new understanding
of God and Life to be brought forth, an understanding that could produce a new
way of life on our planet.
4. You can choose to be courageous enough to explore and
examine this new understanding, and, if it aligns with your inner truth and
knowing, to enlarge your belief system to include it.
5. You can choose to live your life as demonstrations of
your highest and grandest beliefs, rather than as denials of them.
Good luck adding these to your life, and choosing peace
